I work as a political scientist at the University of Zurich, Switzerland. My main research interests lie at the intersection between political economy, comparative politics and political sociology. In my ongoing projects, I study the political consequences of technological innovation and occupational change in post-industrial societies. I am particularly interested in how relative changes in economic well-being affect political behavior and how the middle class responds to a rapidly changing employment structure.
During my Ph.D., I have been Visiting Researcher at the European University Institute and Junior Visiting Scholar at Nuffield College, Oxford. Please see my full CV for more information.
Beginning in September 2018, I will join the Weatherhead Research Cluster on Global Populism at Harvard University.
